2024 SCOA ELECTION NOTICE

The Nominating Committee – Nick Yelovich (Chairman), Ben O’Brien and Larry Chedatol have announced the following procedures for the upcoming election of Offices:
• Up for election are the following positions:
– Vice President
– Treasurer
– Financial Trustee
• Candidates must submit their Bio to the Secretary (secretary@saleenclubofamerica.com), with a copy to the Nominating Committee (elections@saleenclubofamerica.com), by November 1, 2024.
• Candidates must be in good standing (“Dues current”) *, which will be verified by the Nominating Committee per SCOA Bylaws. Any person holding a position on the BOD must keep their dues current through the end of their term, until they resign, or are removed from said position.
• The Nominating Committee will then prepare a Ballot that includes the names of eligible Candidates, and shall submit said Ballot, along with Candidate Bios and voting instructions, to the PoweRRR Editor no later than November 15, 2024, for inclusion in the December issue of PoweRRR. Candidate Bios will also be posted in the Members section of the SCOA Forum no later than November 15, 2024.
• Electronic votes must be cast by December 30, 2024, to be counted. The Nominating Committee will tabulate votes on December 31, 2024.
• New Officers will be announced in the first 2025 issue of PoweRRR, as well as on the Member section of the SCOA Forum.

* “Dues current” with respect to eligibility of a Candidate for any Office is defined as having SCOA Membership Dues paid thru the end of the election process, which runs through and includes December 31, 2024.
